... and he walked away

Turns out I wasn't the only one sustaining front-end damage this weekend ... thankfully my dad is OK ...

Wow! Same thing happened to my old cycling coach on the same bike, when it was brand new in the late 80's-Gkad to hear he is OK, Kevis got a broken arm from the deal : (

Well, my dad was out for a bike-path ride on Sunday morning and overcooked a corner -- straight into a tree! The Epic frames have a history of de-lamination of the aluminum/carbon interface, so that just compounded the issue. He brought it by last night, I'm going to parts-swap to another frame.

Mine wasn't a big deal, just a missing transition log on a pile Saturday night. My shoulder and pedals took the brunt of the impact, good thing Crank Bros has such a great customer service department!
