Travel totally sucked today - more later. I'm standing here waiting for my bags next to Todd Wells, Alison Dunlap, Greg Herbold and others. I love my job.

Did you tell them that you stereotype many of their peers as dumb jocks?
Anonymous, not my intent at all. My bad that it came across that way. I have a lot of respect for the people at the top of the sport -- in fact, I was reflecting today at just how awesome it is that pro MTBers are so articulate and represent themselves, their sponsors and the sport so well. The same cannot always be said on the road side. I know both sides have their good and bad "apples," but the MTB energy is just so positive. It's pretty cool.
I'm a writer and rider, racing on the road, mountain bike and cyclo-cross. Believing in yourself and the difference you can make is the most important thing you can do. Feel free to contact me: scstrout [at] yahoo.com.

I read that they are going to be showing it the next couple of nights as well, if you weren't able to. Can't wait to hear how it is!
